My Love Quote

“We must live, and when this is all over, we must work to make the world a better place. And if we die, we will die knowing that it was not our fault, that we did our best, and we can go to our deaths in dignity… I want you both to live…And to remember...You must choose love. Always choose love.”  

     This quote reminds me of a movie called Remembrance. A reason why I chose this movie because the movie Remembrance shows a man and a woman became fond of each other in a concentration camp during the Holocaust. Their names were Jerzy and Cyla. They both fled the concentration camps, but were not together. So, the couple didn't know whether the other was still alive. So, their lives were about surviving and remembering the one's they loved. The quote is similar to Remembrance because it shows us that love can help us through tough times, especially when it was during the Holocaust. Jerzy and Cyla loved each other and that helped them get through the war.  They fought together, and they grew old at the end remembering the story when they fought together with love and strength. 

     "War can't kill love. Love can kill war." -Helene Lagerberg. I wrote this quote because in the movie Remembrance, Jerzy and Cyla lived the Holocaust and grew old together and winning the war because they fought against the Nazis and Hitler with the power of love just like what this quote says. 

     As you can see, even if their are times where there is war or you're through tough times, love will be there to help you.
