Food, Glorious Food!

     I remember eating that beautiful chocolate cake from my aunt's house. It was so creamy and sweet. Don't even start with the ham and pasta. Ok, first of all it started during Christmas morning. I got ready, went in my car, and finally went into my aunt's house. I could see all the food coming from each of my relatives. I could smell it from the backyard. That's how good it was. I couldn't wait to eat all that food. First, we started opening our gifts, then we played White Elephant, (a game where we can pick any christmas gift without knowing what's inside.) After, I could hear my aunt telling us that we could eat, I heard what she said in echoes in my brain. We finished some of the food, and the desserts. There were chocolate cakes, cookies, ice cream, veggies, ham, pasta, chicken, and filipino foods. It tasted so good!

     I went home feeling so stuffed. We even got to take some food as our leftovers. I was just so happy to have more food that I wanted to eat. But, I was stuffed, so I had to wait for tomorrow.  Ah, tomorrow. That word made me want to just take the leftovers from the fridge and eat it all up without waiting until tomorrow. I guess this is what Christmas foods do to you. I hope it doesn't happen to you.
